Please call our disability services phone line at (740) 753-3525 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

Our drivers are equipped with cellular phones to ensure up-to-the-minute response to unexpected situations that could affect delivery times. Our delivery people are dedicated employees of Blackburn Home Furnishings, not a third party or contract service. Their objective is customer satisfaction, not a profit. You should expect our delivery people to do a pre-delivery inspection for any damages to wood and upholstery, free in-home setup, assemble hardware on all bedroom and dinette sets, and remove all packaging material. You should expect courtesy and professionalism from our uniformed staff in getting your selection to your home safely, making it a satisfying experience for you.

Ensuring Your Delivery is a Smooth and Successful Experience

We pride ourselves in making your purchase at Blackburn Home Furnishings as satisfying and hassle-free as possible, from your in-store experience to delivery.

To serve our customers more effectively, our delivery office personnel maintain close contact with our drivers throughout the day.

Our drivers will remove and dispose of your old mattress and/or foundation when purchasing the same.

Our drivers will remove items from your home on a one-for-one basis (example: purchase a recliner we will remove a recliner, purchase a refrigerator we will remove a refrigerator).

Our drivers reserve the right to refuse the removal of any items that could cause harm or danger other products on the truck.

Our drivers will set up and assemble all merchandise being delivered with the exception of built in appliances and the connection of electronic products. Additional arrangements must be made for these items at the time of purchase or by a separate installer.

Our drivers may call up to 1 hour prior to arriving for the delivery if requested.

Our drivers have years of experience delivering. They are experienced in making difficult deliveries and look for various options in making successful deliveries.

Our merchandise is carefully packed and wrapped during the transport to the delivery destination.

Due to the high volume of deliveries that go out daily, we are unable to request any specific time frames. For this reason, it is best that you choose a delivery date when someone can be available within a two-hour timeframe. For your convenience, you may provide us with a call-ahead number and our drivers will contact you when they are on their way if you request.

Of course there can always be unforeseen delays, such as accidents, traffic tie- ups or bad weather. However, we will keep you updated throughout the day if there are any such delays.

Delivery Preparation Requirements

Please have all sidewalks, stairs, and hallways cleared of obstruction and debris.

Please notify office of any special arrangements regarding a difficult delivery. Ex. narrow hallways and/or doorways, 2nd floor, etc.
